Roulette Basics

James bond plays it and so does a large part of America. A table a wheel which has about 37-38 pockets many pockets where the ball must land after it is spun by the croupier. The scene is really common at the casino setups across America. The players with high adrenaline pumping and high risk bearing capacity are expected to be seen around the roulette table trying their luck with spinning dolly. The croupier, or the dealer representing the house, takes the wagers and pays out all bets at the table. The croupier has no personal stake in the roulette game. The game has seen its popularity grow due to the reason that as the wheel slows down the people are more and more betting on the numbers.

Beginners bet on up to 8 numbers with smaller stakes. The champions however take greater risks. The bets are allowed on the table till the croupier gives a signal to the players regarding the bets to be stopped. The people are allowed to take a pick of 8 numbers and any of the tem winning gets a share of the other stakes and thus he gets the chips to be converted into money at the counter. As the wheel is slowing down the accuracy of the number where the dolly stops increases. And thus the stakes sky rocket at the end of the wheel spin. The bigger bets include the betting on the number along with color of its base. If they are matched then the prize too is multiplied. Thus the players prefer to take different combinations of colors and numbers and thus increasing the probability of win.

What makes the game nerve wrecking is that there is no rule of winning it. So there is no trick or system of betting that maximizes your chances of a win. So if one fine morning if one feels lucky then he can try his hand at the roulette table that evening. It’s just as simple. All you need is a load of luck and some amount of experience to understand a particular roulette table. This fact also repels some people from the game as it attracts. Bu the game has not lost its charisma among the fortunate ones. The roulette tables are the ones with the most visitors lined up for the bet. The game is played with utmost etiquette and the winners are expected not to over react as there is no big trick or tact to win the game. The simple rule is that if you are winning it its sheer luck and if you are loosing it’s just the same.

People have been seen getting robbed off their whole money at the game of roulette and some times the person gets so crazy playing it that he just looses the track of his capabilities and there are examples where the player almost lost their homes at the roulette table.

A lot of attachments come with the thrill of the game. Allegations of rigging the wheel to tempering the dolly have been rampant across the 200 year old history of the game. But the game has not lost its following throughout the world. A casino without roulette tables is not imaginable at all. Roulette has seen people rise and fall and historians have seen it in the same manner. But for sure the game is here to stay in all its glory.

Win At Roulette - 2 Simple Tips To Get The Best Odds!   by sacha tarkovsky

If you want to win at roulette forget roulette systems that guarantee you will win, they don't work!

Save your money, all you need to know is how to bet with the best odds of success.

The good news is, you can get the house edge down to just 1.24% which is great, considering roulette is a game of chance.

Let's look at how anyone can win at roulette.

Roulette systems don't work

If you are thinking that you can win at roulette by buying a roulette system for money, think again!

It would be nice if they did work and we could pay a couple of hundred dollars and make a couple of hundred thousand, but life is not like that!

The reason roulette systems based on mathematical formulas, don't help anyone win at roulette is simple:

They are based on the assumption that past data can be used to accurately predict future events.

Of course, in a game of chance you never know what will happen next, so mathematical systems cannot be applied.

If black comes up 20 times in a row or 101 times, does not change the odds of the next spin, which is always a 50 - 50 chance.

Every spin of the wheel is independent of all other spins so there is no data that can be used to predict future spins.

How to win at roulette

There are two things to consider when trying to get the best odds to win at roulette.

Play the table with the best odds

The European wheel has 37 slots with a single 0; the American wheel has an extra slot, a 00 to making 38 slots. The house advantage is 2.7% For European wheel and 5.26% for the American wheel.

It is obvious to win at roulette you need to play the European table.

Now we have the house edge down to just 2.7%, let's look at how to get the odds of winning a bit closer.

Play the bet with the best odds

Use bets whose odds are near to their payouts.

These "even money" bets mean betting on Even, Odd, Low, (numbers 1 through 18), High, (numbers 19 through 36), Red, or Black.

These bets pay out odds of 1: 1. and you'll find your odds of winning are about 45%, making it a sensible way to bet.

The best of all!

On many European single-zero wheels you will find a bet which takes advantage of a rule called 'en prison.'

When you make an even money bet and the ball lands on zero, you don't lose your bet. Instead, your bet is 'imprisoned', and you let carry forward to the next spin.

If your bet wins, you can then remove it from the table. The house edge here is cut in half and is just 1.35%, making it the bet with the best odds of winning for the player.

Obviously, it gets boring if you use the same bet all the time, so you can vary the above bet with bets close to the payout.

If we haven't mentioned a bet above, it means the odds are not worth considering!

You can't do more to win at roulette!

In conclusion, to win at roulette don't buy a system.

Simply, follow the above guidelines and you will have as much chance of winning as anyone else.

Roulette is fun and exciting.

Nothing quite beats the thrill and excitement of placing your bet and waiting for the ball to spin and come to a halt and see if your luck's in!

Follow the above guidlines and maybe you will win big money at roulette.

Good luck!

Free Roulette System

Roulette System To Improve Your Odds And Win More
 by: Ellison Mansfield

If you've read any of my articles before, you know I always emphasize the fact that there are many viable systems for any type of gambling. Roulette is no exception. While admittedly one of the more difficult games to gain an edge in, I have found a few systems that really do make a difference. Here is an introduction to one of those systems.

The method is based on an electronic failure on a random computer program installed into internet and electronic terminals. The random program installed into these systems which distributes the numbers is only random within its probability quota.

What Does This Mean?

The random program installed into machines has number allocated occurrence probability. This means that every number is given a 1/37 chance of being drawn (0 & 18 Red 18 Black). Unlike real table roulette in a casino where a number is never guaranteed to be drawn, computer generated roulette has to provide a balance of numbers ensuring over a large total of spins each number would have been drawn a similar amount of times (within a few percent), this few percent is called the 'realistic waiver' which is supposed to add realism to computer generated roulette.

How Does This Help?

Well firstly it ensures a fair number allocation and obviously if you’re chasing a set number you know it will eventually come in. However it may not come in for 70 - 80 spins but then you will find it may come in 2-3 times within 10 spins. However this is not enough to invest money in chasing set numbers; however it compliments our FORCE THE ZERO system.

Force the Zero

This system is very simple, bear in mind the above explanation of number allocations. If you place equal bets on Red and Black every spin you will never lose any money, except for when 0 is drawn. However we have discovered a unique factor. When you keep betting Red and Black you will keep winning on color bets (even though you break even because you have bet on both Red and Black), but the computer registers a winning color bet every time so therefore we have discovered that that the color Green 0 starts to be drawn a lot more to combat the constant wins on Red and Black. Therefore bets on Green 0, Red and Black with a bet placement structure provide the basis of our system. This system has been tried and tested on numerous occasions on internet casino roulette and roulette betting terminals with fantastic results (see http://www.insidersystem.com/roulette.html). The System also relies on target structure so that substantial profits can be made and continued.

There are four simple steps required to use this system, which I will be revealing in a future article. Until next time, I hope this information has got you salivating for roulette wins at your favorite casino!
