The game is played with one standard deck of 52 cards. In a 2 player game each player is dealt 10 cards. In a 3-4 player game, each player is dealt 7 cards. The goal in Gin Rummy is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand, by melding them into sets and runs and laying them down.

A "set" contains 3-4 cards of the same value, while a "run" consists of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit. The players must begin a turn by drawing a card either from the stick or discard piles, and adding it to their hand. To complete their turn, players must discard a single card from their hand onto the discard pile. There are three ways to win a round of Gin rummy: Gin, Knock and Undercut.

Gin - is when players meld all the cards in their hand, laying them down on the table at once and discarding their last card onto the discard pile - while having no deadwood (unmatching cards) left. Knock - is when players meld all the cards in their hand and their deadwood count's total equals 10 or lower. Finally, Undercut - is when players' deadwood count is equal to the Knocker's or lower.

After players Gin, their opponents may lay their melds down onto the table, to decrease their deadwood count and therefore reduce their amount of penalty points. After players Knock, their defeated opponents may lay their melds down onto the table, and add matching cards to the Knocker's original melds only. Therefore, the Knock move provides the defeated players with an opportunity to reduce their amount of penalty points far more than Gin.

The winners of multi-round Gin Rummy games are the players to accumulate the highest amount of points. Gin is the move that rewards the winner with the highest amount of points. Players who Gin are rewarded with 25 points, while their defeated opponents receive double the amount of their deadwood count as penalty points.

Undercut rewards the winners with 20 points, and their defeated opponents receive the difference in the counts of the winner's deadwood and their own - as penalty points. The last winning move is Knock. This move rewards the Knocker with 10 points, and his defeated opponents are all credited with their deadwood count minus the Knocker's deadwood count as penalty points. In Gin Rummy, Aces count as 1 point and all the face cards are worth 10 points, while all other cards are worth their face value.

Roulette Advice

by Synapse India

The game of roulette may sound as an ordinary game in a casino parlor. However, you will be surprised to know that roulette game is the most popular casino game in the world. In addition, efforts have been put on to develop such medium or more interesting systems to beat the roulette wheel but so far it is just an effort only.
If you have an accomplished gambling system to try on your gambling tricks; advantages can be availed easily. The wheel of roulette can arise some interesting prepositions for you making you a millionaire that too to single spin. So, be realistic about the goal of the game of roulette and stay ahead of your moves to register a big win.

In practice, online roulette game of roulette is purely based on pure chance and luck. You can always have chances to win or lose the game; it is better to prepare yourself for any thing unexpected. The system of conditional probability does not work in reality and it may produce contradictory outcome. So, it is better if you get prepared for anything.

Also, it is important to mention here that in all of roulette wheel's spin is always considered as a new spin every time and the result cannot be predicted taking an account by any of its previous spins.
Online Poker Game

Improving Your Online Poker Game

by Nate Pachl

With the online poker boom taking the world by storm there are millions of people playing online every sing day. Since the ratio of good poker players to poor one is very low you can all but guarantee that there are thousands of novice players out there whose money is there for the taking. These quick simple tips will help assure your success at the table as well as minimize your bad beats. They are broken down into 3 categories: strategy, recognizing tells, and finding experienced players to help mentor you.
Strategies

1) Play Tight- This is the best piece of advice I can give. Loose players will win big hands here and there but they also loose more money, to other players as well as to the online site in the form of a rake. By playing tight and committing only to tops hands you protect your money and give yourself more leverage to take bigger pots when you hit your big hand.

2) Understand Your Betting Position - Playing tight is effective but it doesn't hurt to limp into a hand with A 8 or suited connecters. But, you need to be strategic about the hands you decide to jump into. If you're the 4th person to act at a table of 10 and you call the big blind there is a good chance the pot might be raised before the action goes all the way around the table. That puts you in a position where you will either fold your hand and lose money or pay to see the flop with a weaker hand. You're better off playing those hands when you are in the small blind or are 8th to act.

3) Switch Strategies - Since you are going to be playing tight 95-99% of the time, switching strategies for a few hands will completely throw your competition for a loop. If you decide to bluff a hand to steal a large pot, other players might think you have them beat and fold to your large raise. You can usually get away with this for a hand or two to pick up chips, but don't get careless. Pick your spots and keep the loose play and bluffing to a minimum to reduce your odds of getting burned by a better hand.

4) Play Regularly - Reading the tips I've provided is pointless unless you plan on implementing them on a regular basis. Practice makes perfect, or practice makes money. There are a TON of poker websites that offer play money games, real money games, as well as free roll tournaments. Putting $50 into an account can last months if you are playing 5/10 cent blinds, and hopefully you will make money so that $50 will be you first and last deposit! If you're not comfortable parting with your money I recommend playing in free roll tournaments. They cost nothing to enter and pay out money to the top 5-10% of the players. If you go the free roll route I recommend signing up for 3-4 different sites since they all have different free roll schedules. You can learn more about freeroll schedules and sites at PunchBook.

Recognizing Tells

5) Playing with Pokey McGee - Many online players are involved in multiple games and are only playing top 5 hands. If you are heads up with one of these players it's a good idea to raise small. These plays will usually fold. To go along with that, if that person raises (especially pre flop or at the turn) it's a good idea to get out of the hand and watch.

6) Pounce on Emotion - We've all gotten burned by big hands and been ecstatic about winning a monster had too, but good players keep their cool in both situations. The nice thing about online poker is that people tend to voice their frustrations via the chat function more than usual. If a person takes a bad beat and is swearing or attacking other person chances are they will over bet to try and regain some of their losses. If you have a halfway decent hand do hesitate to call those big raises, these are the players that fund your account!

7) Masking Bluffs - Picking up on tells online isn't especially new and some players will take 10-15 seconds longer to give the impression that they have a strong hand. Realistically, when you land on pocket aces you're either going to raise or if you're the slow playing type you're going to fly under the radar and not do anything to get noticed. The guy who is taking time to think, especially at low stakes tables, is trying to mask his bluff.

Online Poker Communities and Forums

Finding a Poker Mentor - People who love poker and strive to get better hang out at poker chat rooms and post on poker blogs and forums. Just like people who are into running marathons or fly fishing they are looking for ways to get better. You can learn from these people as they are always sharing ideas and tricks. If you are sharing information and building rapport with strong players they will help you get better. There are millions of people online; they do not view you as competition but as a means to get better for themselves.

Like I mentioned earlier, this is all useless if you're not practicing these tips and trips regularly. To master the game of Texas Hold Em takes a willingness to seek out information and apply your learning's. You've already taken the first step by reading this article! Choosing a poker room that is right for you can be a challenge since there are so many. I've sorted through all of the rooms and have reviews for 5 rooms I think are great (and one popular room that is a liability) on my website: www.punchbook.com. Please stop by sometime and let me know what you think of it!

Good Luck!

About the Author

By Nate Pachl http://www.punchbook.com

Are you interested in learning more about things that your make life fun?
Free Roulette Sytems

7 free roulette sytems

 by kieran lovell

Winning Slowly system The Roulette table has a slight flaw, which provides the player with a utility value in playing this method.

The Columns each contain twelve numbers, one third of the field not counting the zero and double zero.

The 1st Column has an equal number of Red and Black numbers, but the 2nd Column has 4 Red and 8 Black, while the 3rd Column has 4 Black and 8 Red numbers.

Red and Black each account for 18 of the 36 Roulette numbers besides zero and double zero, odds are roughly 50/50 one or the other will hit each spin.

Decide for the game play session to play either Red or Black. If you bet Red, also bet an equal amount on the 2nd Column. If you bet Black, also bet an equal amount on the 3rd Column.

Whether you bet Red and the 2nd Column or Black and the 3rd Column, you are covering 18 plus 8 for a total of 26 numbers out of 38 at the cost of only two units. That's covering 18 of a colour plus 8 of the other colour and doubling up the coverage on 4.

When only the correct Colour comes up, the bet returns even money so you get the spin for free. When only the Column comes up you make one unit profit. When the Colour and the Column come up you make three units profit.

As a table bet in a real casino this will bring frowns as most of the wins will return even money annoying everyone, but this is not a problem in an online casino.

So remember, wager an equal amount on either Red and the 2nd Column or Black and the 3rd Column for the duration of the session until ahead and QUIT while ahead.

In both playing methods, it is important to control or limit how much the casino can win from you, have a stop point and do not double up bets to recover a loss or switch from colour to colour it doesn't help, just play the system as it stands and quit for the day when ahead. The Martingale System The Martingale system is a very old and extremely simple system. It is based on the probability of losing infinite times in a row and is usually applied to 'even money' bets.

You start with one bet. If you win, you start again with one bet. If you lose, you double your bet. Each time you lose, you double your last lost bet. Eventually you are bound to win. When you win you would recover all your lost bets plus one unit (or chip) profit against your initial wager.

Although infallible in theory, the Martingale system requires a large bankroll, has a very low return and is a very risky one because of the maximum bet limits imposed by the casinos. If you run out of money or reach the house limit, you can lose a lot with no chance to recover your losses. The Anti-Martingale System Positive progression. Decide what you want to win, Say 7 units Bet on red. if win leave the two on red (or switch to black if you feel like it). If win again leave the four on another even chance. If win the third in a row skim the seven and restart with one. Every time you lose restart with one. The Evens System This systems works on the even bets, You decide how many bets you are going to have in each session, Say 10, You then pick which even bet you are going to do, Example red/black, You then pick which one, Say red, Then in our example we back red 10 times on the trot, Thats a session over then. The Ormond System Negative progression a variation of the Martingale System. Assumes you will win before you reach the house limit and can bankroll the losing run. Bet an initial amount (N) For each win, on the next bet (N) again. For each lose bet N*x+N where x is the number of losing bets. Thus if you finally win, you will recover all bet money, plus N for every loss. The progression would look like this on a $5 table. 5 15, 35, 75, 155, 315, etc. As with all negative progressions, and this one even more so, it requires more capital and is employed to force a winning outcome following a losing streak. Force the Zero This system is very simple, bear in mind the above explanation of number allocations. If you place equal bets on Red and Black every spin you will never lose any money, except for when 0 is drawn. However we have discovered a unique factor. When you keep betting Red and Black you will keep winning on colour bets (even though you break even because you have bet on both Red and Black), but the computer registers a winning colour bet every time so therefore we have discovered that that the colour Green 0 starts to be drawn a lot more to combat the constant wins on Red and Black. Therefore bets on Green 0, Red and Black with a bet placement structure provide the basis of our system. This system has been tried and tested on numerous occasions on internet casino roulette and roulette betting terminals with fantastic results. The System also relies on target structure so that substantial profits can be made and continued. The Method The method is based on an electronic failure on a random computer programme installed into (internet and electronic terminals). The random programme installed into these systems which distributes the numbers is only random within its probability quota.

What Does This Mean? The random programme installed into machines has number allocated occurrence probability. This means that every number is given a 1/37 chance of being drawn (0 & 18 Red 18 Black). Unlike real table roulette in a casino where a number is never guaranteed to be drawn, computer generated roulette has to provide a balance of numbers ensuring over a large total of spins each number would have been drawn a similar amount of times (within a few percent), this few percent is called the 'realistic waiver' which is supposed to add realism to computer generated roulette.

How Does This Help? Well firstly it ensures a fair number allocation and obviously if you're chasing a set number you know it will eventually come in. However it may not come in for 70 - 80 spins but then you will find it may come in 2-3 times within 10 spins. However this is not enough to invest money in chasing set numbers, however it compliments our FORCE THE ZERO system.

Step 1: (First 30 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Place 2 x $1 chips on 0 Green.

Target Chip Start Bets. However this can considerably increase if you hit 0 more than once.

If you hit 0 within the first 10 spins then that's your profit instantly. Either stop playing if your on a roulette betting terminal and go to another, or Log out of the internet casino and then log back in and restart the process(alternatively go to another internet casino). The minimum profit if you hit 0 within 10 spins is $50. The minimum profit if you hit 0 within 20 spins is $30. The minimum profit if you hit 0 within 30 spins is $10. However we recommend that after 20 spins you continue betting/gambling on to Step 2 even if you do hit 0 between 20 - 30 spins. However if you're satisfied with a minimum profit of 10$ finish playing or start process again.

Step 2: (Next 10 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Place 3 x $1 chips on 0 Green.

Target: If you hit 0 within these 10 spins then your minimum profit will be $16. Either stop playing if your on a roulette betting terminal and go to another, or Log out of the internet casino and then log back in and restart the process(alternatively go to another internet casino). However, from all the trials we completed where 0 did not get drawn in the first 30 spins, it came in at least 2 or 3 times between 30 - 60 spins. So it is well worth continuing even if you have made a small profit. If you were to hit 0 twice in Step 2 spins you would achieve a minimum profit of $122.

Step 3: (Next 10 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Place 4 x $1 chips on 0 Green.

Target: If you hit 0 within these 10 spins then your minimum profit will be $2. This amount is basically the amount you started with, however as mentioned in Step 2 the 0 ball is highly likely to be drawn again around the 30 - 60 spins. If you were to hit 0 twice in Step 3 spins you would achieve a minimum profit of $130.

Step 4: (Next 10 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Place 6 x $1 chips on 0 Green.

Target: If you hit 0 within these 10 spins then your minimum profit will be $42. However as mentioned in Step 2 &3 the 0 ball is highly likely to be drawn again around the 30 - 60 spins.

If you were to hit 0 twice in Step 4 spins you would achieve a minimum profit of $172.

Step 5: (Next 10 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Place 8 x $1 chips on 0 Green.

Target : If you hit 0 within these 10 spins then your minimum profit will be $16. However as mentioned in Step 2 & 3 the 0 ball is highly likely to be drawn especially if you did not hit 0 in the first 60 spins, which only occurred 3 times during all our trials, however we managed to make a profit on 1 occasion and lost a small amount on the other 2 occasions whereby we decide to stop and consolidate after hitting 1 0 in over 75 spins. We could have carried on and eventually made a profit but decide to start another session and reduce the risk as when you reach Step 5 - 0 bets ($8) cost 4 x the original 0 bets ($2). If you were to hit 0 twice in Step 5 spins you would achieve a minimum profit of $300.

Step 6 - Onwards: (Next 10 Spins) Place a $1 chip on Red. Place a $1 chip on Black. Increase 0 Green + $2 every further 10 spins

Target: It occurred only twice in our trials and tests that 0 never got drawn within the first 70 spins, so therefore we advise the bet increase every 10 spins. We also advise to stop the session if you hit a 0 at this stage and you will almost certainly make a small profit or break even or at the very worse a small loss.

During the trials and tests we normally were able to end sessions within 60 spins with a profit.

That's It!
How To Win The Lottery

How To Win The Lottery - Without Buying A Ticket by Peter Moore

As a professional lottery player I have been winning the lottery for the last three years and I'm still winning today. But it wasn't always this way.

You see, like most people, I used to throw money away hand over fist every week trying to win the jackpot, but it never happened for me. Perhaps you know the feeling.

Let's face it, winning a lottery jackpot is a long shot. With odds of fourteen million to one in the UK National Lotto, if you bought one ticket a week, you would have to hang around for up to 250,000 years before you collected your jackpot winnings. Not much use to the average mortal is it?

In fact some people refer to playing the lottery as paying 'hope tax' and they are right. You pay your money every week in the hope of winning the jackpot, but in reality you just keep on losing. Well it didn't take me long to realise that the real winners every week are the lottery organisers, so three years ago I set out to play them at their own game.

The lottery companies have to make a profit every week or they wouldn't be in business - does that make sense to you? If only we could all be lottery organisers eh? Well three years ago I discovered a simple way to do exactly this, and found a way in which the ordinary citizen could make money from the lottery - no matter what numbers came out of the drum. So how is it done?

Well first, you obviously have to increase your chances of winning whilst at the same time keeping your lottery stake at rock bottom, and to do this you have to be part of a professionally organised syndicate that buys tickets in such a way as to guarantee at least one matching number (but preferably two) in every draw. Do you see how this gives you an unfair (but legal) advantage over the ordinary mug-punter lottery players?

Even Camelot, the UK National lottery organisers state that the majority of jackpots are won by syndicates, so next you have to find a professional syndicate organiser who has the ability to collect the lottery fees every week and purchase the syndicate tickets on time, and in the correct order to guarantee your one (or preferably two) matching numbers in every draw. If you've ever tried to organise your own small lottery syndicate, you'll know that this is not an easy task.

But if you found such a syndicate and could increase your winning chances by 700% to 3,600% you are definitely going to win more often. Do you agree? So let's now look at how it is possible for me to play the lottery with 392 entries a week - effectively for free - with guaranteed matching numbers in every draw.

As I know of, there exists only one way in which you can do this, and that is by not only finding a professional lottery syndicate organiser, but finding one that allows you to become an agent for the syndicate and also gives you free syndicate entries as you introduce more players. So how does this work to your advantage?

Well by becoming an agent for the syndicate, you effectively become a lottery agent (or affiliate) and receive commission payments every week that your customers play the lottery. Yes, you get paid not just once, but EVERY week that your customers play the lottery. This is what sets professional lottery players (like me) apart from ordinary lottery players who know no better.

Remember earlier, when I said that the only real winners are the lottery organisers? Well this is how I make a good living wage in addition to the money I win on the lottery. I simply show people a more intelligent way to play the lottery (either the UK National Lotto or the Euro Millions Lottery) and every week that they play - I get paid.

But do you know the best part? I work from home (sat in front of my PC) as and when I feel like it, promoting the syndicate website to people all over the world via the Internet. It really is a great way to make friends and make money at the same time - don't you agree?

About the Author

Author: Peter Moore is a professional lottery player of three years standing, who now makes a living online and assists other syndicate members who are interested in copying his methods.
Online Roulette Games

Online Roulette by Michael Davis

Over the past few years, with the spread of Internet use, many businesses chose to open online casinos; one of the most popular games at such casinos is undoubtedly roulette. But few people know exactly how online roulette games really work. Many accuse the casinos of using their number-generating programs to cheat, but in reality, things are more complicated than this. In this article, we will try to shed some light on the workings of online chance games.

Online casinos use a program based on what is known as RNG, or random number generator; in this way, the server issues a completely random combination of numbers, making each such combination equally possible. An interesting way of testing the fairness of the games of an online casino is by simply not placing a bet, but just writing it on a piece of paper, so as to prevent the casino from cheating. Do this, you will most likely arrive at this conclusion: it's not a matter of fowl play, the system's success is simply based on the random distribution of numbers.

Based on this information, a number of games fans have attempted to devise "system-beating" software to help them win online roulette. The World Best Roulette System is such a team, which claim to have developed and successfully tested a comprehensive tool which reduces the house edge from 2.7% to 0.1%, thus enabling a significant increase in the possibility to win an online roulette game. This program is based on artificial neural network technology (ANN), and it offers a demo version designed, for technical reasons, to work only on Bet365 Casino. At the same time, they are working on versions for other casinos, and welcome input from customers in order to improve their quality.

Every time someone uses this system to play online roulette casino, the numbers being played are automatically sent back to their computer, and used for improvements on the system. Also, the system can be set to work by itself, which is a big plus, allowing gamblers to do something else in the meantime.

This is a legal system, since it does not involve hacking the casino's servers, and the World Best Roulette System claim that using it will not cause a player to be banned from a casino. To guarantee the success of this tool, they offer a 30 days money back warranty, on the first failure. This company only guarantees earnings in the line of a few thousands monthly, and require proof of loss in order to return the money, which makes them somewhat more credible than most systems of this type, who might promise millions.

When choosing which system you would like to buy please keep in mind that you should understand that you can never be sure of success, and that only hard work and dedication can get you there in most cases. Understanding the concepts and how they operate will undoubtedly help you attain the most success in choosing what to buy.

About the Author

The Author Michael Davis writes for a few different distinguished Online Roulette publications.
Basic Baccarat Strategy

Card Counting is one of those phony ideas published in baccarat stratesgy books. Card counting is most often associated with the game of blackjack - and is very effected, used correctly in the right casino. It could also seem to be of real worth in baccarat as the game does work off a comparable shoe. The issue that causes the problem is that of used cards be reintroduced into the shoe before very many have been taken out, thereby flummoxing any count made up to that point!

Baccarat also, unlike Blackjack, does not allow the player the right to change his bet mid-hand in play. Blackjack allows this practice in a number of specific cases, and the player can increase his bet if his count changes during play. In baccarat, card counting presents very few situations with an advantage against the house that the actual overall labours are of no value to the player at all.

Baccarat can be considered a very elaborate coin toss game. This oversimplified impression of the game lures many players to using the Martingale based system of betting which entails doubling up on ones' bet each time a hand is lost. The Logic being that you eventually have to win, and the doubling will allow you to recoup all losses made from all the preceding hands! A perfect system indeed and one that actually can't be beaten in games like baccarat or roulette, and it is because of this that casinos issued new rules. The new rules limit how much a player can bet in 1 hand.

Casinos effectively got rid of the threat of the Martingale System gambler or player by setting Table maximums (and minimums). i.e. A player bets $5 on the banker and lost. Next bet, $10 on the banker, next bet $20, etc, and he continues to lose. Before long, his bet will have doubled up to a point that it will exceed the table maximum. In this case the player can't bet any higher and his system has failed, he must quit.

The Martingale System is a horrific betting system that follows a human beings panic thinking - their natural thought pattern that somehow believes that if a coin lands heads up 9x in a row, there is a greater chance than 50% that it will land tails on the 10th flip! IT DOES NOT WORK!

So - if all these strategies and systems - card counting, pattern spotting, streak spotting etc are worthless strategies for baccarat - is there any good one? Well...practically and mathematically speaking... when you analyse the numbers, the odds do seem to always be in favour when a player bets on the banker, though this is a very boring tactic to play. Perhaps throw in some pattern chasing to break the tedium, or count the scorecards!

About the Author:

Ryan D. has been involved in the online casino and online gambling industries for over 6 years as an operator, marketer and consultant. The term Baccarat means zero in both Italian and French. The game like many others has its own history. While some believe that Baccarat is an Italian product, others hold France as its motherland. Initially the game was plated with a tarot card deck. It gradually became the favorite of the high-class French society people from where its slightly modified form got its name as ‘Chemin de Fer’. After this the game made its way to the land of England and from there to the American soil.

So basically there are four types of Baccarat played today-

· Chemin de Fer
· European Baccarat
· American Baccarat - It is more or less a mixture of European Baccarat and Chemin de Fer form of it.
· Baccarat Banque

The best part is that all the four forms of the game have single vocabulary and playing objectives.
There are two types of Baccarat tables- mini table and traditional Baccarat table. The two tables differ in size, the number of players that can play as well as the manner in which markings and labeling done on them.

Next comes the card values where only aces are counted as one, all tens and faces are worthless-of zero value. Suits are insignificant here. The value of cards is first added and then the first digit is removed or dropped. So a total of 12 will be counted as 2, leaving the digit 1. In the game of Baccarat, which is most often known as the game of chance, there are only three options to wager. These are- banker wins, player wins or a tie case. There are more than one card decks used for this game. This always keeps one in a quandary as to who will emerge as the lucky winner.

The best a player can do to win this game is to evaluate the number of odds. The odds break down is in the following way- Bank- 1.01% house edge, Player-1.29 % house edge, Tie-15.75% house edge. These figures are an outcome of the drawing rules that are made to produce these results. The number of decks used is also a considerable factor in winning the bet. For say if 6 decks are used then the chances of bank winning to the player are more.

In the widespread American Baccarat either 6 or 8 decks are used. It requires three dealers and the main dealer is called the ‘croupier’. The shuffling of cards is the onus of the house dealer while the placement of cards in the shoe and handling it to the first player is the task of the croupier. If a player is disinterested in dealing, he may pass on the shoe, which rotates counterclockwise to the direction of the table to another player. The betting is to be done before the dealing of each hand. After this the croupier deals four down faced cards. The one who has made the largest bet on the ‘player’ gets the first opportunity to see the player’s hand. If there is an eight or nine – a ‘natural’ on any of the two hands, that player wins, the round comes to an end. If both cards are the same, it’s a tie case and if both hands are naturals, 9 outweigh the 8.

So if you have spare money and time and you are also confident of your luck, try the game of Baccarat …who knows… it may bring a wonderful fortune!

About the Author:

Mansi gupta writes about baccarat topics. Generally it is believed that the game got its name from the manner in which it is played. When a player had a jack along with an ace of spade in the first hand, the player was paid extra money. So, in this game the black spades are as crucial as jacks. From this it was termed as ‘Blackjack’. The origination of the game can be traced back to world war I, when the game was quite popular among the troops since it had the benefit to be played at any time and anywhere. Now the game has entered all the casinos and has a huge fan following. Blackjack beat Faro is largely adored and played in the casinos of Las Vegas and Reno.

The Game-
This game is played by more than a few players on a horseshoe kind of table. The base player is the one who is at the end to the dealer’s right. The initial step will be the shuffling of the cards by the dealer. Later you are supposed to cut the cards with a card sized piece of plastic by sliding it between the deck of cards. The dealer will lift the cards above the plastic along with the plastic to place them below the deck. A cautious eye at the placement activity of dealer will be helpful in the game. Next, the top card is set aside by the dealer in order to avoid any kind of cheating in the game. This is known as the burning of the card. This is followed by the dealer’s putting a colored card at about the third way from the bottom of the deck and placement of another card at the last place i.e. at the bottom of the deck.

If the table is full, it signifies an already commenced game. You ask for the chips to play the game and make a bet, which should match at least the minimum bet for the game. Its at the player’s discretion to decide if he wants to with big or small bets and the table accordingly. The dealer deals each player a card face up. The final card that the dealer receives is face down and is known as the ‘hole card’. Then each player is given a face up card as his second card. The value of this second card is the measure to decide whether to take further cards or not. After all players complete their hands ultimately the dealer selects the dealer card for completing the dealer’s hand.

The winner-
The person who is crowned as the winner is the one who has a higher total than the dealer without braking 21. In other words, he comes closest to 21 without exceeding or lagging behind too much. The stand off situation is that when the player and the dealer have the same total and so there is no winner and so no loser.

When you bet, keep this strategy in mind that you have to get 21 on your first two cards. There are various pay off ratios like 2:3 etc. at different casinos. Similarly there are other features attached to the betting process like ‘insurance’ etc. It is advisable to have a prior knowledge of the rules of the game and its betting strategies.

Move into and explore the world of Blackjack…only as game for fun and not as an addiction.

About the Author:

Mansi gupta writes about blackjack topics.

James bond plays it and so does a large part of America. A table a wheel which has about 37-38 pockets many pockets where the ball must land after it is spun by the croupier. The scene is really common at the casino setups across America. The players with high adrenaline pumping and high risk bearing capacity are expected to be seen around the roulette table trying their luck with spinning dolly. The croupier, or the dealer representing the house, takes the wagers and pays out all bets at the table. The croupier has no personal stake in the roulette game. The game has seen its popularity grow due to the reason that as the wheel slows down the people are more and more betting on the numbers.

Beginners bet on up to 8 numbers with smaller stakes. The champions however take greater risks. The bets are allowed on the table till the croupier gives a signal to the players regarding the bets to be stopped. The people are allowed to take a pick of 8 numbers and any of the tem winning gets a share of the other stakes and thus he gets the chips to be converted into money at the counter. As the wheel is slowing down the accuracy of the number where the dolly stops increases. And thus the stakes sky rocket at the end of the wheel spin. The bigger bets include the betting on the number along with color of its base. If they are matched then the prize too is multiplied. Thus the players prefer to take different combinations of colors and numbers and thus increasing the probability of win.

What makes the game nerve wrecking is that there is no rule of winning it. So there is no trick or system of betting that maximizes your chances of a win. So if one fine morning if one feels lucky then he can try his hand at the roulette table that evening. It’s just as simple. All you need is a load of luck and some amount of experience to understand a particular roulette table. This fact also repels some people from the game as it attracts. Bu the game has not lost its charisma among the fortunate ones. The roulette tables are the ones with the most visitors lined up for the bet. The game is played with utmost etiquette and the winners are expected not to over react as there is no big trick or tact to win the game. The simple rule is that if you are winning it its sheer luck and if you are loosing it’s just the same.

People have been seen getting robbed off their whole money at the game of roulette and some times the person gets so crazy playing it that he just looses the track of his capabilities and there are examples where the player almost lost their homes at the roulette table.

A lot of attachments come with the thrill of the game. Allegations of rigging the wheel to tempering the dolly have been rampant across the 200 year old history of the game. But the game has not lost its following throughout the world. A casino without roulette tables is not imaginable at all. Roulette has seen people rise and fall and historians have seen it in the same manner. But for sure the game is here to stay in all its glory.

About the Author:

Mansi Aggarwal writes about roulette topics.
Poker Bankroll

Poker Bankroll Requirements

Your bankroll is the amount of money you have set aside to play poker with. Some players can easily add to their bankroll from outside sources while others have no way to add if they lose theirs. If you fall into the latter category, it is very important to not play at limits that exceed your bankroll. One very important point you should know is that until you become a consistent winner it doesn’t matter how big your bankroll is. The only thing that will matter is how much you have to lose. For this reason, the information below is written for you assuming you are a winning player overall.

The first rule is to not confuse bankroll and buy-in. A buy-in is the amount you sit down in a game with or the entry fee in a tournament, not the entire amount you have available to play poker with over a period of time. For example, you may have a bankroll of $10,000 to play 15/30-limit holdem. If this were the case you would probably buy-in for between $500 and $1,000.

I have seen bankroll size suggestions ranging from 200 times the big bet at the level you are playing at ($800 at 2/4) to 300 times the big bet ($1200 at 2/4). My recommendation, particularly for holdem, is to start with 300 times the big bet. I play much better when I have this cushion. I have played at levels that I had much less than 300 times the big bet in bankroll and it sometimes hurts my play. This is a psychological hurdle but when reduced to facts it makes sense. 50 times the big bet is a common downswing, even for professional players, and nothing to become too concerned about if you are still playing well. However, if you start with only 100 times the big bet, if you are down 50 big bets you have lost 50% of your bankroll. If you had started with 300 big bets and are down 50, you have only lost roughly 17% of your bankroll.

If you are a very sound Omaha/8 player, you can play with a 200 big bet bankroll. This is because Omaha/8 is a much more mathematically direct game than holdem, or in other words there is less short-term variance or luck. Because of the short-term variance in holdem, even professional players may see a 200 big bet downswing at times. For this reason, that extra 100 big bets may keep you from being forced to drop down a level before the cards turn in your favor.

About the Author:

Wes Young runs a poker web site at http://www.pokermonger.com where you can find information about poker strategy, poker room reviews and unique poker articles.
Online Casino Rules

5 Things To Consider When You’re Thinking Of Playing At On Online Casino.

Online Casinos try very hard to create the “real-world” gaming experience on your home pc. The best casino software offers astonishingly realistic graphics along with fast paced action and a user friendly interface. While most of today’s online casinos do their very best to ensure that the games are fun and fair, as an online casino newbie, here’s a few thing you should consider before you plunk down your money.

1) Read the fine print! Before you even consider playing for real money you need to know the rules. Some casinos charge a fee to send your funds, others restrict how frequently you can withdraw funds. "Look before you leap", find a set of rules that you can live with before you make a deposit

2) How does the casino handle customer support? Is there a toll free number for you to call? Do they offer real time chat mode support? Is support simply handled via email? Better casinos will have several convenient ways for you to contact them. Here’s a tip; don't be afraid to call their toll free support line and ask a few general questions, just to get a better feel for the casino.

3) What do other players have to say about the Casino? Visit the various online gambling forums and see what others are saying. Reputable online casinos do their best to keep their customers happy. Disgruntled players can cause quite a few problems for a casino with only a few mouse clicks. With that said, if you see a rant against a particular casino, try to determine if it was simply posted by an unhappy player who lost his money. In other words, go deeper then just looking at a single post; see if others share this player’s view.

4) Understand how the bonus structure works. Because competition is so fierce, virtually every online casino will give you a bonus for signing up with them, this is very nice, but there are always strings attached. First, there are almost always play through requirements. In other words, if the casino is giving you $50, you’ll have to bet that money some number of times before you can cash it out. Also, there are often restrictions on the games you can play using your “free money”. Games with a smaller house edge (like blackjack for example) are sometimes excluded from the games you can play using the bonus money. Also, there may be maximum cash out amount when you’re playing with the bonus money. So once again, it’s up to you to read the fine print and make sure you understand what the restrictions are when playing with the bonus money.

5) The Edge is always with the casino! While we all dream of hitting that huge jackpot and being set for life, the odds against that ever happening are simply astronomical. Gambling, whether it’s online or in Vegas, is designed to be a fun way to spend some time – if you win a few bucks’ great, but more then likely you’ll wind up with less money then you started with. That’s the simple truth. Gamble for the thrill and the excitement, not for the rent.

About the Author:

David Olsen has been writing about online casinos and casino strategy for over five years and is considered an authority in the online gambling world.
Casino Bonus

Casino Bonus – Fact Or Fiction?

Casino bonuses – what is up with this? Is somebody actually nice enough to give you money for free? Sure, and pigs fly!

You see, the people running online casinos are actually quite clever (no, don’t laugh). They know that giving away an online casino bonus will not only attract more people to their casinos, but they will make money from it as well.

And don't think that this is a new idea. Land based casinos all over the world have been using "freebies" to attract people to play at their casinos. Think about the free drinks, rooms, etc that casinos offer.

How can online casinos make money from giving away money ? Casino bonus deals are structured in such a way that you can only withdraw it from the casino after you played a number of hands/rolls/spins. The casinos know that few people will have any of the bonus amount left by the end of these hands/rolls/spins, never mind the full amount. Plus, they probably lost their own deposit in the process!

Most people that play at online casinos are either fun players or they don’t have a strategy, or both! These people are the lifeblood of a casino, as they have no idea how to overcome the advantage the casino has over them.

Every casino game has a house edge (the average % of profit that a casino makes from a game). The only way to overcome the house edge is to enter the casino with a working strategy.

But let’s get back to our discussion about casino bonuses.

Actually, for all the bad press, casino bonuses are quite useful. You won’t get rich using them (unless you win the jackpot!), but armed with a bit of knowledge, it is an easy way to make some extra money.

Before you sign up with an online casino based on their newest casino bonus, you *must* read the terms and conditions regarding their promotions. Obviously all the terms and conditions are important, but you really want to check out the following 3 elements:

*Wagering requirements*

Simply put, this is the amount of money you have to wager before you can withdraw the bonus. This is normally expressed as a multiple of your deposit plus your bonus.

Example: The wagering requirement is 20x, you deposit $100 and get $100 bonus. Therefore, you have to wager a total of $4,000 before you can withdraw the $100 bonus. You can withdraw your deposit at any time.

*Excluded games*

Very important! Some games are excluded from fulfilling the wagering requirements. These are usually the games that have the lowest house edge, including Roulette, Craps and Blackjack and all their variants.

However, if you spend a little time and search around, you will find casinos that will include one or more of these games in the wagering requirements.

*Withdrawal conditions*

A few casinos have withdrawal conditions to withdraw the bonus. Even if you have fulfilled the wagering requirements, you still have to meet certain conditions. These might range from depositing a minimum amount of money to being able to withdraw your winnings only after you reached a certain amount.

These extra conditions mostly relate to free casino bonuses (where you do not have to deposit any money to get a casino bonus). But beware, there are some casinos where these conditions apply to the normal deposit match bonuses.

**Strategy**

In order to make a bit of money from online casino bonuses, you *have* to follow a proven strategy. Your goal is to get through the wagering requirements without losing too much of the bonus. That way you have your initial deposit plus a bonus amount which you can withdraw to make a nice profit.

Who knows, you might even have a very good system and make some profit on top of the casino bonus!

Good luck and start playing!

Hein

About the Author:

Want to find the best casino bonuses on the ‘net?
